GROUP EQUIPMENT ORIENTATIONS:  FREE.  Weight room orientations are designed to familiarize you with the various types of strength and cardiovascular equipment available for your use.  Orientations are led by YMCA certified staff and last about an hour.  For your safety and to ensure proper use of the equipment, orientations are recommended before using the Fitness Center.  For orientation information contact the YMCYMCA Front Desk at (812-752-7239).

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Morning Aerobics: This class will feature a variety of group exercise techniques ranging from low impact, step, cardio kick boxing and some light resistance training.

Intermediate Step: Step class designed to challenge the average step participant.

Low Impact: Floor exercise class with little to no impact.

Pilates: Group exercise class designed to work the body's core muscle group.

Rep Rebok: A one hour total body workout using a variety of exercises and weights to tone and strenthen.

YMCA PERSONAL FITNESS COACHES

Personal fitness coaches are available at no extra charge for a one-time orientation to the YMCA and our equipment.  Our fitness staff is alsoavailable for questions and help during our open house.   YMCA  personal trainers are nationally certified as YMCA Personal Trainers. 

Our Personal Trainers are also available for one-on-one Fitness Sessions.   Proper exercise form, intensity and frequency are emphasized in each personal fitness session.  Personal trainers can help you design a program that meets your needs and goals.

BOOT CAMP

BOOT CAMP! Boot Camp is a work out class for people seriously committed to improving their health and fitness. This is an on going program lead by Scott Alumbaugh.  TRAIN HARD! LIVE 4 EVER!
