Child Watch

Parents with children 6 weeks through 7  years old may drop their children off in the Child Watch room while you participate in a program or exercise. Parents must remain on the premises while the children are in Child Watch. Child Watch is free to children of YMCA members. Non members pay the daily guest fee.

Schedule:   Monday-Friday    8:00-11:00 am    and    Monday - Thursday 5:00-8:00 pm

YMCA Afterschool

YMCA Mission:  To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Who:        All Scott County Elementary age children & middle school kids through the 7th grade

When:     Monday-Friday 3-6:00 pm when school is in session.

What:      Homework room, snack, organized games that promote social, motor, & cognitive skills,

                    KidzMath program, crafts, creative activities, swimming, social opportunities & free time to have

                    fun.

Where:  The old Scottsburg Middle School and the Scott County Family YMCA                

Cost:       $22.00 Part-Time (2-3 days per week)

                 $32.00 Full-Time  (4-5 days per week)

Session:  August 10 - May 24

SUMMER DAY CAMP

(Boys & Girls ages 5 - 13)

Days/Times:   Monday thru Friday 6 am - 6 pm

Dates:  May 30 - August 3 (Closed July 4)

Campers may attend the whole summer or just one session!

Weekly Fees:   Members:  $65.00 Full Time (4 to 5 days per week)

                                                        $45.00 Part Time (3 or less days per week)

                         Non-Member:  $75.00 Full Time (4 to 5 days per week)

                                                        $55.00 Part Time (3 or less days per week)

There is a $25.00 registration fee. This includes a camp T-shirt, enrichment programs, and electronic entry into the computer system at the YMCA site and the middle school site, and safety cards for each camper.

Campers will work toward 20 possible patches this summer including:

Daily Activities Include:
