Financial Assistance
At the Scott County Family YMCA, we firmly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be part of our vibrant community, regardless of their financial circumstances. That's why we offer a financial assistance program designed to ensure that no one is left behind. We understand that, for some, affording a Y membership can be a challenge. Our program aims to break down financial barriers, making our services accessible to all.

24/7 Access Guidelines
As a valued member with 24/7 access at the Scott County Family YMCA, you have the privilege of enjoying our facilities at any time that suits your schedule. While specific areas of the Y are staffed during our regular hours of operation, it's important to note that after the Y officially closes, there won't be any Y staff present to assist members. During unstaffed hours, access to the fitness center is exclusively granted to the Scott County Family YMCA members aged 18 or older who have completed the 24/7 facility access policy and waiver.
We take our community and safety seriously, which is why we uphold a strict honor code and enforce a zero-tolerance policy. It's essential to understand that guests and Nationwide Reciprocity Members do not have access to the fitness center after hours. Allowing entry to unauthorized individuals during unstaffed hours can result in the loss of your 24/7 access privileges, and, in severe cases, may lead to membership termination. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our members.
Nationwide Membership
Our nationwide membership network allows access to utilize other Y locations across the country, however nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time. Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating Y in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA (your home location is the facility that enrolled you as a member and that collects your membership dues).
At the Y, we believe that positive, lasting personal and social change can come about only when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors.This strengthening of community and the realization of a Y’s full potential—has the most impact when all Ys are open to all Y members and provide safe and welcoming environments for everyone.
With Nationwide Membership, members can visit any participating Y in the United States and Puerto Rico through membership at their home Y, at no additional cost. Nationwide Membership is an essential part of our cause to strengthen communities.
